Knowing if you are dealing with mental health is easy and in today’s era almost 10% of the globe’s population suffers from Mental Health Disorder. This isn’t at all shocking because time is frequently changing and people are mostly unaware of what is going off beam with them. Why is it that they feel like resigning on everything and being less bothersome about them anymore is the right thing to do?
Trust me (if you can or want to); this isn’t a myth or a shame but a matter of concern because like any other disease that exists on this revolving earth; mental health disorder is also a disease that can hamper your physical health along with your mind. To know if you are dealing with mental illness, look out for the symptoms such as – feeling like you are exhausted all the time, having a sense of irritation or sadness even when the situation doesn’t demand such feelings, having frequent mood swings, being on anti-social mode or unable to sleep or eat.
Know that these are just some of the traits which display you are having a mental disorder but there are many more that come unknowingly and leave a bad imprint on your mind. And healing from it is crucial.
How do I deal with my mental illness and try healing?
The answer to it is pretty simple but takes a lot of courage to start acting on. When you are dealing with mental illness, it gets quite difficult to reach the required destination. When saying “required destination” here I mean the mental peace that comes after healing where you no longer remember any trauma or anxiety anymore and follow the path of self-love and care.
Healing from mental illness takes primarily the will-power and trust over yourself that you can and you will. If you have that strength in you then overcoming the illness that is killing inside will be healed like wonder. Yes! If you read these words it would definitely feel like it’s impossible, which is normal for you to feel but one day you will have to move on from where you are and start the climb (quoting the Queen Miley Cyrus song).
How does positivity help in healing?
This question is valid to ask and the answer is an effortless one. Positivity is always the remedy to treat your mental illness but with your sweet time. Yes! It is going to take time and you my dear are in no hurry. Everything will come into its rightful place only if you let it be. At first the journey will be turbulent like any angry sea or ocean but when you see that sunrise at dusk don’t you think the waves were worth it? Definitely it would be. You can never understand the calm if you have never experienced the storm.
Positivity will train your brain into becoming a version that has access to only something better. Keeping good thoughts alive is a must if you need to live a life of fulfillment.
