‘MUUVR’ – A Startup to Help You With Your Logistics

Before I say what MUUVR is, let me tell you a short story. It all started with a person thinking of doing something on his own; something different and new. Looking at where he inhabits, that would be Assam, Mr.Pankaj Gogoi thought he should step into the startup community. As the hub of entrepreneurs in Assam is starting to grow gradually and many ‘out of the box’ thinkers have brought newness in this land and also developing the state and the country at the same time.

So this is how the story started….

In 2018, he and his team were trying to think of a way through which the communication problem that stands between people could be eradicated. He started that project using a product named Cellfisher which was used to connect people in the hyper local space and connected customers to the nearest cab just like “Uber” “Ola” and other cab services we know of. 

Muuvr is also a hyper local startup where they connect the clients with truck drivers directly through an app to help you up with your logistics. It started first with short distance coverage and then they thought that long distance coverage was in need too, so they have shifted to long distance coverage too.  All you have to do is just select the kind of truck you want and get bids from various truck drivers. The bid that best suits you can be chosen by you and the truck will be at your mentioned place to pick up the goods and transfer it to the destination. It’s a wonderful way to make your logistics issue come to an end. They deal with both B2B & B2C clients and are thinking of getting hold of the entire market soon.

In 2019, Muuvr got incubates on the month of April under Assam Startup and also got a grant from the same. After that, they had initiated everything and started making their app. The app was launched too but was not accepted by the market due to some technicality as well as user interface issue. So they started to work on the better version of the app again and now on October 2020, they have launched their app “MUUVR” with much easier and according to what the market demands. Being someone who has initiated their first startup it becomes way too hard to overcome all the hurdles at one go. 

In words of Mr.Pankaj Gogoi , when asked  if there was any sort of negativity he felt while working for this startup, he said  “ The market we were trying to understand was totally unorganized and there was a great learning while we started working on it, There were hurdles, but we kept on solving one after another, we had to overcome all challenges by ourselves.” 

That is what it takes to be an entrepreneur. No matter how hard times get, how many hurdles there are in front of you, you need to overcome them like a pro and he did that along with his team. Initially, his team consisted of 4 members. Now there are 8 active members working together for the betterment of the business and they are onboarding also across Assam and hopefully one day across Northeast India too.

Muuvr is a brand new concept that has emerged and is going to be a phenomenal one when used but its clients. With optimism the entire team is moving forward and bringing out the best in them. We are looking forward to use entrepreneurial skills to ease our tension with logistics. Now all you need to do ‘BOOK! MOVE! DELIVER!’
